Designing logos for financial businesses
In finance, insurance and law, the logo is a promise of trust. Clients are handing over money, risk or a legal problem, so the identity has to feel established, calm and precise, with restrained color and type that stays legible on letterheads, statements and a phone screen alike.
A logo only earns its keep if it works everywhere, so we design for full color, one color and very small sizes from the first sketch, and test the mark on the places it will actually appear.
