We designed the Dimcorp logo, chosen as the winner from 141 entries in an open design contest.
“Project Management and Business Analysis services consultancy, identifying business needs, determining solutions to business problems and ensuring solution delivery to customer satisfaction. Providing light in the darkness, guidance when the future is dim.” From the Dimcorp design brief
Style: luxury, modern, refined.
Color direction: Black, Blue, Grey, a little Yellow. I am open to other colours too, although purple, orange and red would need to look amazing to get my vote.
Tagline: “The future is dim (optional use)”
Our design was selected as the winning logo from 141 entries submitted by designers around the world. The contest, the brief and every competing entry are public.
Consultancies and service firms sell expertise, so the logo has to signal competence before the first meeting. That usually means a clean wordmark, a disciplined palette and a symbol that hints at what the firm does without spelling it out.
A logo only earns its keep if it works everywhere, so we design for full color, one color and very small sizes from the first sketch, and test the mark on the places it will actually appear. Logo and brand design is included in our $1,950 complete website package, alongside the website, hosting and SEO that put the new identity to work.
